| · | Bio-degradable oils We will only use bio-degradable chain oil on all our sites at all times, we believe this is vital in reducing our environmental footprint. We will only use the highest performing petroleum and 2 stroke oil available. This ensures optimum efficiency and means that CO2 emissions are reduced and that fuel deposits and waste are kept to a minimum. |
| · | Recycling our green waste Like many practitioners we feed as much as we can of our green waste through a brushwood chipper. This allows us to create the by product of chippings which, once matured to mulch, can be used on garden planting beds, footpaths, for tree planting etc. |
| · | Timber and log production Timber too big to chip can be cut to a specified size and where appropriate can be used as fuel for wood burners. Where this is not required, we store it until matured and supply the local area with fire wood. |
| · | Bio-fuels We are currently developing systems to produce bio-fuels with a biomass fuel company based in Derbyshire and it is from this that we hope to lead the industry in the recycling of green waste to biomass. This offers a viable and sustainable alternative to the rapidly diminishing supply of fossil fuels. We are also setting up systems to produce our own bio-diesel to run the vehicles and and the chipper and taking a further step away from the use of fossil fuels. |
